February 25th, 2024 6:42PM EST~Long time no update (again lol)


So hey.
Ive had a lot of stuff goin on, just in general, which is why i havent updated since octobr. Biggest news is that ive lost two of my rattos, Chao and Dip. Unfortunately they both kick flipped into the potato patch in the sky, but in their absence Lupin and Curly Fry have grown quite fond of the new boys, Fester and Boogie. They integrated super well with the boys in the aftermath of Chao's death, and now they all love to snuggle together and play.
In other news, im still obsessed with neopets! I just dont play on a private server thing anymore, due to some shit happening with moderneopets that was like, weird and full of drama and annoyingly disrespectful to artists. SO now I play on the actual main neopets site, and honestly im glad i switched over! I kinda wish id done it sooner tbh cause i missed some apparently HUGE events, but so far stuffs been super cool. Ive been slowly transferring my Neo OCs from my moderneopets acct to my actual neopets acct, which does take some time to get pets and paint them to match them (at least as closely as I can lol) but its been a fun challenge and ive been able to streamline my group of neo OCs down to more important and interesting characters, as opposed to the metric fuck ton of random little guys i had before. Im also still working on setting up the neopets page on this site to reflect the changes, but to be fair i hadnt finished it before i decided to move to neo proper anyway so...meh!
Another big change in my life is that I switched my MAIN MMO i guess you could call it, which sounds like a stupid thing to call a big change in life but for me it is! Ive been playing ffxiv for like, over a decade now, so its kind of a huge deal that ive decided to stop playing and let my house get auto demo'd. I bought my ff house before all the housing changes happened so if i ever come back to the game itll be a lot harder for me to get my house, but thats fine! I honestly think the housing system in ff is one of the reasons i decided to stop playing, it really felt like it was holding my free time hostage a bit lol.
In lieu of ffxiv, ive decided to start playing Dragon Quest X. Which is a japanese game, that hasnt been localized yet, and it took a LOT of finagling to get an account and get everything set up, but now that all that tedium has been taken care of, im having a much more relaxed time playing it than i did ff. Buying a house doesnt put a timer on you like in ff, so i can take however many breaks from the game i want, for as long as i like, without any anxiety over losing my hard earned home. I also love that I can play as an absolute fucking GUY. Seriously, just a fucking DUDE.


Anyways, hopefully ill get out an update sooner next time, but for now ill leave yall here uwu/
